3. Payment Terms

Pricing: All prices listed on our website are in Euros (€) and exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Payment Schedule: For custom projects, we typically require:

• 50% deposit before project commencement
• 50% upon project completion and before delivery

Recurring Services: Subscription-based services and maintenance packages are billed according to the agreed schedule (monthly, quarterly, or annually).

Late Payments: Invoices are due within 14 days of issuance. Late payments may result in service suspension and additional fees.

4. Project Scope and Changes

All projects are defined by a scope of work agreed upon before commencement. Any changes or additions to the scope ("scope creep") will be quoted separately and require written approval.

Revisions: Standard packages include a reasonable number of revisions as specified in the project agreement. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope will be charged at our hourly rate.

Timeline: Project timelines are estimates and depend on timely feedback and content provision from the client. Delays caused by the client may result in timeline extensions.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and timely information, content, and materials
• Timely review and feedback on deliverables
• Ensuring they have rights to all content provided (text, images, logos, etc.)
• Maintaining backup copies of their website and data
• Keeping login credentials secure

6. Intellectual Property

Client Content: You retain all rights to content you provide. By providing content, you grant us a license to use it for the purpose of delivering our services.

Deliverables: Upon full payment, you receive ownership of custom code and designs created specifically for your project. However, we retain the right to use generic code, frameworks, and methodologies in future projects.

Third-Party Components: Websites may include third-party themes, plugins, or libraries subject to their own licenses. We do not claim ownership of these components.

Portfolio Rights: We reserve the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio unless explicitly requested otherwise.

7. Warranties and Disclaimers

Bug Fixes: We provide a warranty period (typically 30-90 days, as specified in project agreement) for bug fixes on new developments. This does not cover issues caused by client modifications or third-party plugins.

Disclaimer: Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete security, or error-free performance.

Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party services, hosting, or APIs beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meep Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

By Client: You may terminate services with 30 days written notice. Deposits and payments for work completed are non-refundable.

By Meep Tech: We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if payment terms are not met, or if client conduct is abusive or violates these Terms.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you must pay for all services rendered up to the termination date. We will provide deliverables for paid work only.

10. Confidentiality

We respect your confidential information and will not disclose it to third parties except as necessary to provide services or as required by law. Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information shared during the project.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Meep Tech operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
